Do you need a licence?
Residents need a licence for Andorran boats or foreign flags accepting Andorran permits; temporary residence permits are excluded. Exemption: over 18, daytime, up to 5 m hull and 15 hp, within 2 nautical miles of shore. PNB/PER: 16+; under-18s need an adult with the same or a higher title.

- What it lets you do
- Motor/sail up to 15 m hull, 12 nautical miles offshore, day/night; jet skis. At 18+, 24h nonstop offshore practice extends this to 24 m and 60 nautical miles.
- How you get it
- Full exam: 45 MCQs, 90 min; 32 correct. Max errors: RIPA 5, buoyage 2, chartwork 2. At least 16h sailboat practice; SRC course.

- Boats up to 25 m hull length, unlimited distance, day/night. Requires PER held for at least two years.
