IALACOLREG is a free educational resource. By accessing the site, you agree to these terms. They are governed by Spanish law.

1. Acceptable use

Personal study and non-commercial educational use is welcome. You may not scrape the site at scale, abuse the API, attempt to bypass auth, or republish substantial portions of the content without permission. If you want bulk content access, email us.

2. Accounts

Signing in with Google creates an account. You are responsible for the security of your Google account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or applicable law, with notice where reasonably possible.

3. Intellectual property

Original content (rule explanations, quiz questions, illustrations, code) is © IALACOLREG and licensed for personal study only. Regulatory text reproduced from IMO/IALA/national authorities remains the property of the respective rights-holders. You retain all rights to content you submit (corrections, contact-form messages); by submitting, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to use it to operate and improve the service.

4. No warranty

Content is provided "as is" for study purposes only. We make no warranty of fitness for any particular purpose. Seafarers must consult the primary regulatory texts and their national authority for operational decisions.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Spanish law, IALACOLREG is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

6. Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features at any time, including for maintenance.

7. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from /me. We may suspend access for serious breaches of these terms; in that case we will, where possible, give you a chance to remedy the breach before termination.

8. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Spanish law. Disputes shall be submitted to the courts of the consumer's place of residence (where applicable EU consumer protection rules grant that right) or, otherwise, to the courts of Barcelona, Spain.

9. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The dateModified at the top reflects the latest change. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
