Do you need a licence?
For pleasure boats from 10 m to under 24 m: licence beyond 6 nm, above 30 kW or when waterskiing; otherwise, within 6 nm below 30 kW, age 18 without a licence. Pleasure ships need a licence. Smaller craft, jet skis and exact 24 m/30 kW boundaries need confirmation.
